Does the Galaxy A52 have eSIM?

Depends on the version · check your unit

The Galaxy A52 has eSIM in some versions only: the market the unit was made for and its firmware decide. The check takes a minute and is more reliable than any list. If the support is there, a travel profile installs like on any other phone.

eSIM reached Samsung Galaxy in 2020, with the Galaxy S20, 5 years before the Galaxy A52. That is a change from the Galaxy S24: on that 2024 model the answer is yes. The Galaxy S26 that follows in 2026 has it too. Its 2025 shelf-mates, Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge and 9 more, carry the same answer.

The Galaxy A-series is not on Samsung's official eSIM list. Some models do have it on some markets, but assume it is absent until you see "Add eSIM" in Settings. Units bought in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau have no eSIM regardless of the model.

Check your unit in a minute

Settings → Connections → SIM manager

An "Add eSIM" button means it is supported. Dial *#06# as a second check: a phone with eSIM shows an EID among the numbers.

Settings beat any list: the same model ships with and without eSIM depending on the country.

Common questions

sim_card Can I install a travel eSIM on the Galaxy A52?

Yes, if Settings offers an entry to add an eSIM. Check that before buying a plan: without the entry there is nowhere to install the profile.

layers How many eSIMs does the Galaxy A52 store, and how many work at once?

On Android the number of stored profiles depends on the model and firmware. Usually a physical SIM and one eSIM work at the same time. The SIM manager in Settings shows the exact layout.

compare_arrows Is the Galaxy A52 any different from the rest of the 2025 Samsung Galaxy line?

Not on eSIM. Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A55, Galaxy A56, Galaxy Tab S10 FE, Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra answer the same way in this catalogue, and each of them depends on the market the unit was built for. Where units differ is the market they were made for, and that is what Settings shows.
