London eSIM: EE data across the UK
A London eSIM runs on EE and reaches England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man sit outside that coverage altogether. The profile is 5G and carries data only, with no voice service on it. Its days start when you first connect somewhere inside the United Kingdom.
26 plans for the United Kingdom, from 1 GB at $3.99 to 20 GB at $23.99, plus 6 unlimited-data tiers. 5 GB for 30 days costs $8.99 — 34th cheapest of 56 in Europe, against a $7.99 median. Our retail prices from the operator catalogue, checked 13 September 2026.

Landing at London Heathrow Airport
Switching data roaming on for the eSIM line is your job, and not the phone's. Install the profile before the flight, over Wi-Fi at home rather than on arrival. After you land at Heathrow, select the eSIM as the line for mobile data. EE carries the connection from that point onwards, right across the United Kingdom. No APN needs entering for this profile, either on an Android phone or on an iPhone. Validity runs from first use, so a plan bought early arrives with all its days intact.
Which plan for London
Length of stay is the deciding factor here, not the size of the allowance. Fixed sizes ran between 1 GB over seven days and 20 GB over thirty, checked 5 September 2026. Unlimited passes run from three days through to thirty at the far end. Airalo priced the 1 GB seven-day plan at $3.99 on 5 September 2026. The thirty-day unlimited pass stood at $62.99 on the same date. The profile is rechargeable online once the first plan has run down. Coverage stops at the Crown Dependencies, so Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man need their own eSIM.
The 2026 SIM farm law
The new British law is aimed at SIM farms rather than at your own phone. The Crime and Policing Act 2026, sections 151 to 153, makes possessing a SIM farm an offence. Parliament has adopted the measure, but it has not yet come into force. The United Kingdom country page found no confirmed trap for a traveller's own eSIM. You buy this roaming profile without local registration of any kind at all.
Where the EE profile stops
This plan covers England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and stops there. Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man fall outside it. Each of those needs a dedicated eSIM bought for the island itself. A day trip across changes the country the phone is roaming in. EE carries you everywhere inside the four nations without a second plan. Those exclusions are named on the United Kingdom entry, checked 5 September 2026.
