Where it works
Latamlink covers 17 countries on one profile, catalogue checked 27 September 2026. Cross a border and the phone re-registers on its own; the plan's data and days are shared across all of them.
Not covered in Americas: Canada, United States, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, Aruba, Belize, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Greenland, Sint Maarten (Dutch Part), Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Antigua And Barbuda, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint Martin (French Part), Suriname, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Saint Lucia, Haiti, Curaçao, French Guiana, Marie-Galante, Montserrat, Saba, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sint Eustatius, Turks and Caicos Islands, Virgin Islands (U.S.). For those, buy the country's own plan.
On Android the APN is typed by hand: globaldata (if that fails: isp). iPhone sets it itself. The order page repeats this next to the QR.

What it costs per day
Cheapest per day: 3 GB for 30 days at 47¢ a day. The dearest per day is 50 GB for 30 days at $3.50. Short plans always cost more per day: validity is rounded up, and unused days are paid for anyway.
Latamlink puts 17 Latin American countries under one profile; the list runs from Mexico down to Argentina and Chile. The smallest package, 1 GB for 7 days, costs $6.99, checked 5 September 2026. Coverage starts on first use, counted from the first network connection rather than the purchase date. The map stops at the Latin American mainland; Canada, the United States and every Caribbean island sit outside it.
Thirty-eight countries outside the map
Latamlink's gaps outnumber its coverage: 38 countries sit outside the plan. That is more than double the 17 it reaches, and the list opens with Canada and the United States. Caribbean names follow close behind, including the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico. A trip that starts in Mexico or Costa Rica needs a second eSIM for any Caribbean island. The same applies crossing north into Canada or the United States. The 17 covered countries run from Mexico through Central America into South America. Anything past that line falls outside the plan.
A fifteen-step data ladder
Latamlink runs fifteen separate packages, all fixed-GB with no unlimited tier. Data starts at 1 GB and climbs to 50 GB, on 7, 15 or 30-day clocks. The largest package, 50 GB for 30 days, costs $104.99, checked 5 September 2026. That price is the ceiling of the whole lineup. The 5 GB, 10 GB and 50 GB blocks each come back on all three of those clocks. That repetition is where the fifteen steps come from.
Manual setup on Android
iOS sets the APN automatically to globaldata/isp once the eSIM activates; Android does not configure on its own. That same globaldata/isp value has to be typed into the APN settings by hand. The plan is data only, so voice calls and text messages are not part of it. The clock starts the moment the device attaches to a network in one of the 17 countries. Activation follows the first-usage rule, so the count opens then and not on the day of purchase.
Before you buy Latamlink
- 38 countries, led by Canada and the United States, sit outside the 17-country map.
- Android needs the globaldata/isp APN typed in manually; iOS applies it automatically.
- The ladder tops out at 50 GB for 30 days, with no unlimited package on the list.
Common questions
Does the Latamlink eSIM work in the United States or Canada?
Both sit among the 38 countries outside Latamlink's map, so a trip that crosses into either one needs a separate data plan for that part of the itinerary.
Can the same Latamlink allowance be bought on a longer clock?
Yes for the middle of the range: 5 GB, 10 GB and 50 GB each appear on a 7-day, a 15-day and a 30-day package. The 1 GB, 2 GB, 3 GB and 20 GB sizes come on one clock each.
Does the Latamlink APN need manual setup?
Android needs the globaldata/isp value entered by hand, while iOS applies that same value automatically once the eSIM turns on.
